I've been thinking alot about what is real and important to me. In a world where you have to sift through so much pain and negativity, there are still many moments of beauty and of love if you look for them. Each of us has an amazing power if we choose to use it, which is to create love. To help eachother and to generate postitive energy in the face of everything else.
The more I articulate this to myself, the more I know that this is what I want my life to be about...in small, everyday ways and in bigger, more global ways. This is what backlight can be. A movement to generate inspiration, hope, beauty, and love...and to create a giant community and support system. So I'm very excited to be a part of it
